I went to the markets this morning with the wife just looking for a piece of furniture when this guy has a plastic bag full of watches. I went through them and picked out a few then said how much for these well I almost dropped dead when he said "Ah just give us 20 bucks mate" here are some pics and there are a few really nice ones well at least I think The first is a Ladies Hi Beat Seiko forgive the pic but it was so overcast this afternoon I couldn't get good light. It runs hand winds and is keeping time. The Next one is a Lorus Quartz I threw a battery into it and off it went. The Next one is a Rose Gold Manual wind the really nice thing about this one is it has providence with it look at the case back. it winds and runs very well. Although the seconds hand is missing but that can be sorted out. The Next one is a Manual Wind called a Buler it winds and runs although the crown comes away from the watch so I'll have a play with it. The last one was a surprise its a Pierre Cardin ladies Quartz I threw a battery into it and it runs superbly and keeps very good time the Quartz movement is marked internally Swiss Movement. I'll give them all a good cleanup and give some to the wife, the Lorus to one of my nephews. Cheers Mark

Love the inscription! Great find and a great days work!
Patty and I go to flea markets, consignment shops, antique stores, swaps, even swing by pawn shops on occasion. If found a couple of things here and there over the years, but pickings are usually very slim.
Anyone know places in the NY tri-state area?
Would a listing on the board of flea markets and the like, organized by region/state be of interest?

Love that case back!
Not so sure about the Pierre Cardin... sure it's real?
I would love a "find" like that.
Good job!
