Hey Mr T. (Tabasco), I don't collect them but I do have one. It's a Seiko 7T32 (IIRC) and my wife bought it for me about 17 years ago when we were walking through JC Penny. It's a great looking watch and I do love it. Wore it for many years straight as I let all my other Quartz watches sit in the drawer due to lack of batteries.

I will never own a 2-toned watch as I detest them but each to his/her own!

You don't wear a gold earring you need to match?

You don't wear a gold earring you need to match? As a matter of fact I do wear a gold ear ring but I certainly wont buy a Gold or 2-tone watch to match! The problem with 2-toned watches is that when the gold plating starts to wear or it gets scratched the base metal shows thru and once that's done.... it looks like hell! At least with Stainless you can touch it up or have it re-brushed! To me...... 2-toned watches just look cheap........... JMO

I would normally agree that two tone is not, imho, a good look. But I do have a couple of two tone watches which I am very fond of.... Stephen

Stephen OK...........those 2-toned watches are fine and I'd but own one like those................the 2-toned I am referring to are the type where the cases are 2-toned as well as the bracelet!

I used to have a dress Seiko Quartz which I purchased in Soviet Union when I was working on cargo ships. I gifted it to one of my cousins. That was my first TT timepiece. Then I got this: A gorgeous piece, and I have been regretting for why I let it go!!! suicide Capt. Serdal

I just have this one, a gift from a friend. It was the first model Seiko that I purchased myself (in 1980-81) from my first tax refund. Most of my watches are SS, with a few vintage gold ones. I still have my original, but it's so beat up that I can't use it (dead movement, missing indices). I am very grateful he gave it to me as I couldn't find one myself after 4 years of looking!

The 2 tones we're talking about is PVD and stainless right? Not a fan of gold and stainless / chromed base metal.

Not on purpose but this one was an experiment to see if I could revive it. Turned out that three or four people thought it had merit and donated the needed parts(notably chronograph.com)... I don't own a Monster but this watch surely would hold it's own in a lume competiton!
