I received a Jiusko chronograph Diver from Michael (BobbyMike) last year in a contest on the wf-wf forum. I modified the watch and had contacted JiuskoUSA, after a few months they contacted me and offered me a trade as they wanted to take the chronograph back to China. The watch was just a little too big for my wrist and I'm really not into chronographs so I picked the Ocean from the JIUSKO website. This watch was only available in China up until about a month ago, I received mine in two weeks. Many of the original comments made by Michael and myself on the chronograph have been taken seriously.
The watch case is flawless at approximately 37 mm in diameter, all machining is spot-on with no sharp edges or defects. The engraving on the screw in case back and the buckle are deep and precise, the back has a nice mixture of flat and polished surfaces. I still do not see the need for a Helium release valve in most watches, I'm not going to be in a diving bell and no one I know ever has. The crown is a screw down triple sealed crown, very nice feature not often seen in a watch at this price point and takes 3 1/2 turns to screw down.
The 60 click bezel has a nice action, positive when clicking with a slight back lash and extends slightly over the case measuring 38 mm in diameter. The ceramic insert is very clean and lines up perfectly with the minute track at 12:00 o'clock. The engraved numerals and markers are very clean and sharp. The minute track is external to the dial, sandwiched between the bezel and sapphire crystal, all minute markers are "silk screened" black with red on the quarter hour.
The dial would be considered plain in comparison to the other watches in the line up but I like it. The hour markers and numerals are applied and filled with lume. The dial has a blue textured finish, the brand, depth rating are painted on. The lume although not as bright as C3 glows well and all night long. I would like to see an applied "JIUSKO" emblem and a second hand with a longer tail.
The watch is fitted with a Miyota 2115 movement, it is a little touchy when setting the time but has gain only 1 second in a month. The silicone strap has form fitted ends and is extremely comfortable with a substantial buckle.
The "110" is a very well built watch at a competitive price at $235 on Amazon.
