Don't get to fussed over the pics Louis, just get out there and wear that sucker! Well Sir I hardly touch it, It is the most expensive one I actually have. The wife says I am to picky about it. When you have something like this, and never had one, you get nervous about it. Just don't want to damage it because I probably could not replace it. It just sits in a little box I made for it and does not come out. It only has been used ... ( 5 Times time's ), since I found it. My wife says I am extremely terrible about some of my things.
Well Louis, obviously the previous owner didn't share your concerns....besides, you listen to your wife!

Looks like we both like some original Wabi, nice Never took to these in photos. Then I had one in my hands the other day that belonged to Stefan. So much nicer in person than in a photo! Stefan had a saphire crystal blue tint in his watch that set if off superb. Might get one myself one day but as a diver I prefer to trust my life to my G-Shock so it'll have to wait until I am flush with the old green folding stuff. I think the 6309 is one of those watches that you either love, like, or hate. I have one and I like it, but I don't think I'll e ver :love:it. Come on Lynch Mob.........

That's a really nice looking piece, where did you get it? I got it from Evilbay. Took a gamble on it as it was only£33/$50. It was from Bulgaria or somewhere like that. Got a waist coat today so I can wear it. :happy:It's ornate back and front (pics in my gallery). That's fantastic, I love it! Oh, what exactly is a waist coat? And yes, pics are necessary.

Will be using this one, " My DOXA 5000T SharkHunter " , and a careful day it will be too. They tell me that it wont be any good not used so I am using it. My I have to be really careful all day today. Aloha and thanks for looking.... Louis / LongBike Dude! IMHO, you're crazy not to wear and enjoy that beauty. Hey . . . it didn't cost you anything and these watches are meant to be worn and appreciated . . . not put in a case and be admired like a piece of art! I say wear the snot out of it . . . if you don't what will happen to it? Your kids will get it and probably sell it. What's the worst that can happen . . . you add a little patina . . . put a scratch or two on it? I'm not suggesting you go out and put down cement but geez . . . that's too nice not to be worn! I've got my Dad's Le Jour watch that is apparently pretty rare and somewhat valuable. It's basically a Heuer Pasadena but with a private label. I'd be sick if I lost it but that doesn't stop me from wearing it and enjoying it. You can't take it with you . . . Carpe Diem Louis.
