Going my " Old Faithful " 6309-7290 Today. This one The Wife calls ..... " THE CHROME JOB SPECIAL ". For those new to this one it came to me Three Years ago in a terrible mess and had to be excessively polish so all I did was rebuild it and now a " Black Bezel Insert " is on it. This one shine's like a " Chrome Bumper " now. But never goes down and got it Free too. :winner: Aloha and thanks for looking....... Louis / LongBike

Yep; just got off the 'loo' I don't mind the chrome bumper look but you gotta do something about that hideous solid end link...it looks worse than a James Bond gap! One of my watches is on an oyster with folded end links that are near perfect fit. There is no need for a mismatch like this :-/

If I find one to replace it, it will be done. I did not like that over size look also. But it is only a once in a while day user when used.

well i just had to change out that terrible plastic crystal...worn this every day since i got it... from this to this... Mate not trying to criticise, but that notch in the case looks enhanced I think it's been filed. Easy to tell. If it's a nice smooth finish to the edge of the notch then it's original. If it's a sharp flat edge it's been filed. Sorry John I might be wrong but I have never seen a notched case on a resist watch before. What year/month is on the case back? Did it come from a guy off evilBay in New York?
