Given the weather today, this seems appropriate. The artist is Paul Hayden Desser, a Canadian singer songwriter who has been around for years but I only heard for the first time a couple of days ago. He's pretty good!

Here's a fun one. Fun is right! I have one with a black dial but have never seen them in blue. Is it original? No real matter I guess but it looks just great!

This houses a 7005 movement. It looks like Seiko updated earlier 7625 Sportsmatic models. I'd like to find the blue chapter ring with luminous hands like penguinbce's.

Russ, don't go by my example; it was a Ramon treasure so no telling of the hands were original or not. Yours looks to be in excellent condition and by the 'Sportsmatic' script is probably older than mine which is a late 7005.

Russ, I'm guessing yours is a 7625. Am I right? I haven't seen a 7005 with the Sportsmatic script. I could easily be wrong though.
