Not as interesting as a lot of the latest ones listed here but I've been after one of these for a long while and refused to pay the inflated prices. Hopefully an easy fix, if not a movement transplant will. You did good, I paid almost double that!

Technically it’s not coming, as it already arrived. But it’s only been a couple hours. Thank you camrok

That looks awesome. The scratch will lift easily with some 1200 then 2000 or just 2000 if your persistent sand paper and some tooth paste. Glad it arrived quickly. Congrats for winning the accuracy challenge.

Congrats for winning the accuracy challenge. and it's a nice fit. most of my watches wear big on my wrist. this is one of a handful that fits well on me. i'll probably go at it with a polywatch.

I just picked up this 1971 JDM Seiko 7017–6040 5 Sports Speed Timer “Flyback” from the good Gents at Hub City Vintage. Comes Fully Serviced, NOS Seiko Crystal installed and on original 5 Sports Double Hinged Bracelet. I’m stoked.

So I am going through a phase similar to Picasso, we'll call it my own blue period. There's always room for another 7009. 7009-8599, I have one in the NO$9 collection that has a white/silver linen dial, looks great, was hoping this would have had the same "texture" but I think its a Seiko standard blue, as seen on many. I've wanted one ever since I missed out on buying one that George was selling on eBay a few years ago. It's so much more chunky and solid than I was expecting. A pleasant surprise. The crown flummoxed me for a minute. Expected a screw down.

Bracelet and bezel (and even the case) are reminiscent of the Monster.

Yeah I noticed the bracelet is very similar in look as well as code number.

Feelin lucky 🤙 Grabbed two 0634 from ebay listed as broken, both started right up with a battery. Just need a little tlc, and maybe a polarizing filter(i think that causes the discoloration?) and we good 👍 *Spoke a little too soon, the 5009 has some internal problems 'to be diagnosed', but the 5019 is workin smooth as butter
