I don't usually do Citizen watches ... But I'd totally wear that. Cool watch!

Arrived in the mail today from Hong Kong. Made in Japan version with Roman numeral day wheel not Kanji. Got a great price on it. I paid $249 because I added my eBay bucks. Got a nice red and blue NATO for it

One of these was posted today, and my watch-lust ran away with me. Thanks for the idea, Alex! We'll see if I got took.

7A48-700. Paid $120.00. Seller indicates its working. I've always wanted one but never wanted to spend the kind of money I see them selling for until now. Seller pics. Not the best. He only had two. This one and a wrist shot. Appears in very nice overall condition with minimal scratches. Just some nominal gunk. Was worth a shot. I plan on having my watchmaker do a once over and clean it up real nice.
Click pic to enlarge.

The seller tells me that it is better than described. The only problem I see is that little bit of crud on the minute hand. We'll see.

So one of your white whales came past? Hi Ross.. It is not that uncommon for a RM.. That said I have let a few go by in the hope of getting one with nice deep colours like this.. Most of the time they are a faded yellow.. It is nice to finally get a beauty..

Since I have been tipped over the watch acquisition edge, I found this one that an old friend had fsot. I offered a trade and he accepted the deal, so I have this one incoming: The rotor says it's a 7S26A. Hope so. Checked @ Carlows and this is what I find: Seiko 5 case with SNK807 blue dial and SNKK27 hour and minute hand, seconds hand from another Seiko 5, TimeFactors leather strap.

Got this incoming and one that can honestly be referred to as a “Rare Seiko”... The greatest linen purple dial they produced imo... Cal. 6139-8002 Speed-Timer from ‘71

$10.00
Why not?
I saw that one, and almost pulled the trigger myself. And for the same reason...'why not'?
