You mean Scubarob and 69ChevelleSS of course !! Exactly. No doubt they've seen a few Maiden shows over the years. Incredible show Tristan . . . . they are at the top of their game (even at their ages). Saw them the last two tours and they never disappoint! Enjoy the show!

Stumbled on this one cheap. The problem is, the pictures are so bad, I don't know if it's the SRPC03 (Sakura Fubuki) or the SRPC97 (Fuyugeshiki). For what I paid, either one would be fine. I'll have to wait and see . . . View AttachmentTurned out to be the SRPC97 (Fuyugeshiki). 😊

I grabbed this from Ramon's treasure chest... He did not advertise it as a Seiko so it is probably a fake. But, it does have a genuine 6309A movement. I thought it might be worth the $22 just for the movement but I may also do a mod

This came up as a reasonable BIN. I wanted a Full Metal G when they came out last year, but didn't feel like paying $500 for one.

I like that one too but how large is it?

I like that one too but how large is it? I got to play with one a while ago, think it’s same model. I really liked it, scratch magnet apparently though.

I like that one too but how large is it? It is my understanding that these are dimensionally similar to a normal G-Square, but a little thicker. They weigh in at about 155g, which is similar to my TSAR. What worries me is the bracelet. It is attached in such a way as to allow for very little articulation at the case, which may not work for my 6.5" wrists. I can wear a watch that is 48-50mm lug-to-lug as long as the bracelet can drape down over the sides of my wrist. If it doesn't work I shouldn't have too much trouble flipping it.

The lack of bracelet/head articulation is what spoiled the full metal G-Shock for me and made me sell mine, bloody shame because it was just what I was looking for otherwise.

Something is at the post office ready for pick up tomorrow. This isn't it... Why, you say? Because I promised the donor that I would bury it in the back yard so it never got out into the wild again. I interred it over 10 years ago now

Snagged another 7009-8210 from India, took so long to get here had forgotten I bought it. Has the correct end links but the bracelet I believe is for a 6309? The crowns isn't proper either... I took a chance since I didn't have a Blue dialed example...these have become an interesting side addition to the "no money 9 collection", which has kind of stalled the last several months as few new references have popped up and those that have I got out bid in the final seconds....

A fully functioning "Running Man" for $16.00 (and $10 to ship ). Need to work on the crystal. But I thought it was worth it.

I made the mistake (again) on dropping in on a local watch shop here in Calgary and chatted up the proprietor and had a good 'ol gab. He's an AD for Seiko and had some lovely pieces on display. I tried on some of the new divers but the thing that caught my eye was a pre-owned Alpinist he had on consignment. First time I ever saw on in the flesh and I have to say I was impressed. The size is spot on. Unfortunately, the consignors price was way too optimistic. So yeah, I caved and picked one up on the interweb, Here's the seller's pic of it which should land here on Monday.

It's definitely iconic although I'm bettin there are some Pogue lovers out there that might argue otherwise.

Dude posted a SARG013 and a SARG015 for sale for cheap, missed the first but snagged the second! Always wanted to try one of these on. (Maybe this one will stick too, been struggling to appreciate anything made after like 1980 )

Fortunate to have grabbed this, this morning. Very clean example to add to the 821X collection. Described as seldom worn...
