...at least I haven't seen one for sale for ages. Finally found one, pulled the trigger and now waiting impatiently for it to arrive... ..and yes the wait really hurts! Should be with me in a couple of weeks...

Very nice! Can't say that I've ever seen one, can you give me some info on it? It's a 7c46-7011 Scubapro from 1999 and limited to 300 pieces. Seiko did a limited edition of the 6306-7001 for Scubapro in 1977-1979 (afaik). In 1999 they made another limited edition on basis of the sbbn007 7c46-7011 300m Tuna Can. During the last decade I only have seen two of them for sale...

I think the hands suit this watch really well. What material is the shroud?

What material is the shroud? I don't know it exactly but most likely stainless steel with a kind of black coating.

Congrats. I had forgotten all about this model. As when it came out I wasn't into Tuna's. But now! My own tuna funds have been and gone four times. But will enjoy the wrist shot when its landed.

Nice watch, and certainly rare, but I sure do hate me some 'mercedes hands'.
Seems an odd choice for Seiko to make...even on a Limited Edition.

Did they ever put those hands on any other diver?

Think of the cost and hassle of printing all those hefty new price tags!

However I'm a sick WIS so it's not me to blame ;-) Btw, does anybody know what these have cost or the MRSP back in 1999?
