After finally levering the Sinn off of my wrist, I'm back to the SUN019. Finally feel like myself again. I just can't decide now. maybe I should have just got one when i seen it for sale. But need to try the Sun023 first. They're still being made, which is nice. I love the depth of the dial, the contrast between the black dial surface and the grey sides of the markers and the light patina'd color the lume. Unusually for Seiko these days, they got the hands right. The insert is awesome. It's large-appearing, which is my only actual gripe, and I really wish they'd given this one a black shroud instead of the all-stainless.

Wearing my solar orange again. I really love this watch but hate the rubber strap. Think I'm going to try a black Nato with an orange stripe if I can find one.

After finally levering the Sinn off of my wrist, I'm back to the SUN019. Finally feel like myself again. I was at the Seiko boutique in New York on Saturday and tried one of these on. Beautiful watch and it is really big but it would have worked on my huge wrist. My wife wanted to buy it for me as a father's day present but I said no as it's a Kinetic and would be subject to long periods of sitting in the box. She also offered to buy me the shrouded Monster but I wasn't willing to pay $575 for one so I passed.

However, I'm considering buying a watch winder just for this watch. I don't know if they work on kinetics but it's worth looking into.

Watch winders don't generally work on kinetics so unless you can use it for autos I wouldn't spend the money. You can either source a genuine Seiko charger or try out one of the adhock type induction chargers...tooth brush chargers, tea candle chargers, wireless cell phone chargers, etc. A little searching and you will quickly find the ones that work the best.

Or I could simply wear it on a couple of my walks per week (I walk every day) and then it'd be groovy.

Thanks Tony I like it, very small but something about it caught my eye. It was in bad shape too so I wanted to rescue it. Come to find out the movement is in clean and top shape and running very strong too. I got it and just shook it and it started up, Then I fund out it was a Seahorse after I cleaned it up. I like these old guys , maybe a white dial one later. According to looking around and a Forum person told me , I have to find a ...... ( M33 Case/Case Back ), for this dial and movement I have here its in top shape too, got it from the same person too but (Never Seen One), so I don't know what the case look like yet. ( Dial Code Reads: 6106-9050T AD ) Aloha Sir Louis

A 6106 will fit any 6105, 6106, 6119, 6309, and many other cases as long as you have a movement ring to fit the case.

Going with the ...." Chrome Job today again ". ( 6309-7290, little small but it is just fine.) I have had this watch for so long I just like it. It was my Second collected watch and I rebuilt it. Like to find another bracelet like this one too.
...
The bracelet should not be a problem - Yobokies, Rob from Monsterwatches, Tungchoy, wjean - "Solid Oyster", with solid endlinks. The SKX007 ones should fit, I guess.
