How about an Official WRUW scheduled game plan for July (or August if we can't agree in the next 5 days)
While everyone is "entitled" to wear what they want how about an "encouraged" watch for each day of the month.
Some daily themes might be:
Wild card Friday where what you want.
First watch you owned (if you still own it)
Wear a quartz watch.
Wear a hand wind watch.
Wear an automatic watch.
Wear a MOD'd watch.
Wear a watch you paid to have serviced.
Wear 2 watches (on on each wrist)
Wear a watch with a dial color other than white or black.
Wear a divers watch.
Wear a watch that you gave the same one to someone you know as a gift.
Wear a 25 year old watch.
Wear a 50 year old watch.
Wear a 75 year old watch.
Best Ebay score.
Birth watch.
Wear a watch with a history that you know of and share the story (gift from a relative, found metal detecting, buya house get a free watch, and so on)
So there are 20 out of 30 (31) possibilities.
Anyone else down?

I think that's a great idea, let's see if we can make it work.

Not to hog all the ideas but to get up to 31: Wear a chronograph. Wear a watch on a bracelet. Wrist shot with your automobile (or public transit if you are disenfranchised). Wrist shot at your job (or picking up your welfare check if you don;t have one ) Your beater watch. Wrist shot going commando nude no watch for the whole day Who can do it? Wear a NATO or Rhino or nylon strap. Wear your smallest watch. Wear your largest watch. Wear your 2 hand watch (no seconds) I refuse to wear watch with no seconds hand as I have owned many vintage watches tha hav run and stopped and without a seconds hand I might have not have known it broke. And to finish the month off "Who is famous (or at least known) on the forums that you purchased your watch from.

Good idea Josh. A couple more criteria could be: A chronograph A non-Japanese watch A watch you have restored in some way (even if it's just replacing a crystal or bezel - good for those of is without actual service skills)

I'm up for it. I often have problems deciding which one to wear and I can do almost all of those suggestions. Not sure about the bare nekkid wrist though

Sounds like fun, I reckon I can do three quarters of the suggestions.

Now we need someone to start the WRUW thread (preferably a Kiwi, Aussie or equally far ahead of the rest of us) to start each day with a recapitulation of the watch to wear...

Good idea. Surprised not to see it before. I'm in!
I'd add: The watch you damaged the most The watch you hunted the longest Wrist shot with a view (probably best for the weekend) Recursive wristshot - wrist shot with the previous post in the background.

I am IN. I rarely post to WRUW but I like this awesome idea Josh and I want to participate. Idea NOT to use would be 'nude selfie WRUW' where the watch was the only thing you are wearing.

It was a joke - I think if I dig deep enough I'll find a pocket watch somewhere in my drawers. Edit: Drawers of the desk kind, not my underwear!

Josh, can I put you in charge of creating the calendar for the month? It would be nice to have it all planned out, so there is no scrambling or duplicates. Just get your ideas from this thread, and have at it.
