Just seen this over at the other place, lots of fake Seiko 6138 bullheads showing up on ebay, all with the same serial numbers 6N3147 Looks similar to the rash of fake slide rules that turned up a couple of years ago. They should not fool any of us but they are selling seikola

At the price they're listed at, and given the obvious AM hands and dial, they shouldn't catch too many of us out.

How long before these cases start turning up with real dials though? there are plenty around. At least they made a big mistake with the bracelet by making the lugs the same size, this will always mark them out as fake thankfully so they should arouse suspicion in the rest of the watch seikola

If you already have to source an original dial, hands, movement etc to make it look genuine these most likely come from a complete bullhead. Where is the benefit in fitting it all to a fake case? Why not just refinish the genuine case?

1- I notice that (so far) just the two sellers then? one in London and the other in Singapore ... so 3 bully's all with SN#6N3147 2- All using second hand movements? 3- in regards to the Singapore watch - the movement (assuming its not faked) has a few issues ... it appears to be marked 6139?
And (FYI) a Bangkok seller has a black/blue 'Speedtimer', they have 5 bully's listed (and again one movement marked 6139)

They're good enough to catch out pretty much anyone that's a new player. The black ones are a lot better than the brown, you can pick the brown ones right away.

So I decided to check on how the bullys were doing...
And I decided to have a look at completed listings (as sometimes hindsight is a good thing!)
Anyway the London seller has sold 9 Sportura's (either Barcelona or Bar Honda), now the photo's arent as sharp as the bully imagery ... but studying them only results in 3 serial numbers ...
Barcelona's SN#262086 SN#262088 (and i wonder if the 6 is not a mis-strike on some and should be an 8)
BAR Honda SN#7D0108
there are other 'mysteries' in his sold listings ... but i think enough has been said, and the forum is now aware of this seller

Post some links up rather than itm numbers, and that also goes for others who find similar watches in future. I know 'live' links are frowned upon in certain situations but in cases like this the community deserves to be made aware and I'm sure our host won't mind ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) .

First the 6138-7000 Sliderule and now the Bullheads! I guess as the value of the 613x Seiko chronos keeps increasing scammers may try to make more and more fakes ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) .

Lets face it, with that many running around in mint condition they would have to be Fakes, or someone has discovered the Seiko "Fountain of Youth" !

So... I am re-visiting an older thread ... its educational folks! (either that or at least humour me!) (Part one) I get the feeling this guy realises that he has been burnt ... and is trying to re-coup some of his loss (181879953310) I think its a bit cryptic, but to quote them "Purchased in June for over $1100 SND, my loss is your gain at the asking price in order to help fund a service on my Omega!" (so they paid about US$ 695?) they also mention it's in the "in the favoured blue / black colouration" and they want US $349.00 (ouch!) ![](http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/gAgAAOSwVL1WASiZ/$_57.JPG) (Part two) And there is another 'merchant' getting in on flogging these fakes (221894681827) although this one is described as follows “Original, NO BOX, watch is NOT functional---SERVICE REQUIRED. Buyer is responsible for repair at his/her own cost. Sell the item as replacement parts. Sell it as it is. No refund or exchange.”... however they want GBP 349.95 in exchange for this beauty !! (And they have 'blocked' the copy url function in the listing !?!?... however all you need to do is open a new window and drag and drop the image as it breaks this 'handcuff'... methinks they are aware its a franken) ![](http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae326/cat250052/FI/P1170502.jpg~original) ps. I love the "orange is the new brown"![]() ![](http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae326/cat250052/FI/P1170510.jpg) And yes after a long day at work I probably spend to much time looking at watches ![:banghead:](//storage.proboards.com/5353543/images/G8YMDAbK5SpWR_i5q2vO.gif)
