In my yoof I roller skated regularly with my best mate. Gave it up after landing heavily on both knees one day. I have fond memories of tearing round the local rink at unsafe speeds. I also remember taking her Ladyship one day, (she really wasn't suited to it). I asked the DJ to wait until she'd got almost all the way round then change the direction everyone was skating in.  I'm sure she still hasn't forgiven me for that. |

Hhhhmmmm i used to roller skate....but that was more years ago than I care to remember!! I am at the age now that I don't fall over, I tend to have a fall, so I think I will pass. The spirit may be willing but the body is.....brittle !!  |

I still can do all those things including Ice Skating at our local Ice Palace. When on the other Island ( The Big Island ) where all the Volcanoes are at and ( Mount Mauna Kea ) and the Observatories are at when there is snow I go Skiing and Snow Boarding. I use to work for years with the Observatory and that areas so I love doing all that. After work I spend about .... 2 hours Skiing then go home in town. It is easy because I only weigh around .......220 - 225 yet and always been around there in weight but I am around ....6 foot Five and a Half. Nothing is wrong with me physically and will not be since I am in physical shape always. Aloha Louis |
