Got the Blue Angels back and after an hour or so of messing around I finally got it set! I guess I have no excuses now not to wear it!

Schwarzkopfing today with the SKZ285 Starfish and a old Timex Expedition T43371. I cleaned the Starfish last night and it's bracelet which isn't as scratched up as I felt it was. I've never liked wearing other people's battle scars but it's working out. The Expedition is a watch that I've had for a long time. It was tossed into a drawer for a few years, pulled it back out and was pleasantly surprised to see it was still running. There are some small scratches on the crystal but it looks good on the red/tan NATO.

I'm going a bit off the path today and am wearing this as it served me well during my tour in Vietnam and still works like a champ some 45 years later! what's the specific model on that one? My wife's favorite that she stole from me is a DTU-2A/P MIL-W-3818B from '64. m

ooo crap I misremembered - this one is March '65, SN 043653 Mine came in as a wreck from Texas. I relumed the dial and did a full restooration on the original hands. Didn't have the crown so used a Seiko 6217 World Time one.

We have a yachting club about 200 yds down river from us so we see lots of interesting boats, it's also the last really deep water before you enter london so was used as a cargo drop for ships wanting to get further up in to the city and used to be a royal dockyard in the reign of Henty VIII. seikola
