I have a 6309 with an aftermarket dial that I would like to replace with an orange one. The ones I'm seeing on ebay do not look quite right to me. Can anyone recommend a vendor of dials/hand sets for this watch?

The 6309 diver never came with an orange dial.
As Peter said you can find aftermarket unbranded orange dials that will fit.
If you want a genuine Seiko dial you would have to find an orange (or teal or white) 7548 quartz dial which will bolt up to the 6309 movement but they are rare in their own right.

Actually the 6309 did come with an orange dial...the very scarce if not actually rare, 6309-729B. The watch is rare enough that finding an OEM dial will be next ot impossible. This is my close but not quite authentic -729B...

I have an orange 6309 but it's entire internals and bezel/ insert are from an original 7548-700H.
My phone doesn't seem to want to upload a pic of it.. But I've posted it on here a few times.
