... So . . . . here is what I learned . . . . I assumed it would be an auto movement but it's not . . . . hand wind only! Why, you ask . . . because it's the moon watch and the lack of gravity would have negated the auto-wind action of the weight! Very interesting! Incorrect. whoever passed this info to you should be fired from selling Speedy Pros. Hence, why the Pogue worked just fine. It is all inertia and nothing to do with gravity. Often thought that NASA was afraid of this being an issue, but that is not true either. The Moonwatch is manual, because that is how cal 321 works - no other reason.

What is the difference between the 8r28 and the 8r48?
Searched and searched and can't find this?

is the 8r28 an integrated chrono or is it a chrono feature added on to another mvmt? does that make sense?

Hi guys!
I'm seriously thinking of purchasing a new Seiko Brightz chrono, and seeing as it will be my first Seiko with a comma on the price tag I just wanted to ask what you all think of this movement, and of the Brightz chronos in general.
Thanks guys.

In my hunt I have noticed 3 casebacks.
6138-8000
6138-8020
6138-8030
Can anyone explain to me the difference in the models?

Hello sushi crew.
I have a strict no quartz policy - not from a high horse position but simply because I am afraid of what it will lead my very addictive personality into.
However I am currently obsessed with the vintage 7a series, so could you kindly oblige me with some pictures of all of your beauties. What a supremely great dial layout and just an all around gem of a watch.
Extra credit for Pepsi bezel, of course.
And I have been for several months actively pursuing my first purchase of one (sometimes I think the harder I look the harder something is to find) so this will help me with authenticity issues.
Thanks guys.

every collection should have one.
love em.
bought my dad one (he is a big $ watches kinda guy) and it didn't take him long to realize how awesome they are as he now wears it much more then any of his other big $ watches.
an honest watch that makes no excuses for what it is.
