After impatiently waiting all day, it finally arrived just before 6pm (I hate being at the end of the mail route). I gotta say, I'm pretty pleased. Bracelet has been sized, time has been set...now let's see how it performs. I couldn't wait, I had to post some quick & dirty pics. Interesting box, it actually opens sideways. Box and all the bits, even a full size bracelet.

I know very little of these divers or much about the brand but love it. I notice the crown protector looks like the styling of a vintage brevet case, like on the Heuer 1000. How old is the watch? I am sooo disappointed I sold my victorinox with a valjoux. I think movement alone it's a solid component to any collection. Then to add an awesome brand and styling. Well done.

The believe you are correct, I think this case is the same as the standard Heuer, and very comfortable. I've got a couple of the Red Dot divers, Same case as the Heuer Jumbo divers. This one dates back to the early/mid 90's, sure to be a classic IMO.

Looks to be in great condition! Congrats on that one!
I am not too familiar with Zodiac with the exception of the Astrographic which I hope to own one day -
We all know what the red dot is on the Astrographic but what's the significance of the that 'red dot' on the diver? Any history to it?

I'm confused. Tim, did you turn 50 in 2016 or recently? Either way, Happy (belated) Birthday!
