As I've mentioned before, finding real watches here in Hanoi isn't exactly easy. The other day I looked at a fake 7002 and they wanted $120. Today I went on a walk and saw so many supposed 5's with quartz movements I lost count. Finally, I came to a little booth that had some fake watches on display on top, with some rough ones underneath I could see. I asked on an Orient and the guy said no, that one is broken and laughed. I laughed a little too and said that's the point. He said he couldn't sell that one, but pulled out a bag of old "junk" Seikos and Citizens, some real, some fake, all varying degrees of poor condition. I ended up with an 8305-9000 M77. The dial is far beyond hope, and the auto winding mechanism is missing, but I paid $4 and I've always loved the lugs on those cases. he also gave me his card and said if I call ahead he'll make sure he has something for me. I'm hoping I finally found a source and he can get a few divers for me. Maybe there's hope here after all -Micah

If you think Seikos are hard to find....... look for Zippos!
