I'm not sure what it is, but THIS one kinda got my attention. It was cheap, so feel free to give the business if it was a bad purchase. popcorn

Marked waterproof and it looks like it might clean up pretty good. If nothing else you've come up with a pretty nice beater.

The case is plated base metal and the back is stainless steel, it's from the cheapest end of Seiko's range. I like the STP cased Seiko's though 'cos you just don't see that many surviving in good condition.

It's got to be worth the price you paid just for the bracelet hasn't it ? Always good to see a Seiko marked 'proof'.

It's a nice 40 year old casual/dress watch. It has the 6119 auto movement that quicksets by pushing the crown in. This was a fairly decent movement when it was new. The watch should clean up nicely and a service should give it another 40 years of life chinathumbsup.gif
Oh yeh; the price was probably half of what I usually see these old beaters go for.

I saw that and almost got it - not a bad purchase at all. Should clean up nicely!

Great find. I get such a kick out of the clean-up and resto that it definitely fun to win these types of watches.
Wear it well.
