Watch is SOLD. Even though the sale went through another website, thanks to Wristsushi for the space. Hi guys, Having bought quite a few watches lately, I must sell some to make space in the watchbox. For sale is a Mirona Luxor, according to case back from September 1962, Swiss Made. Movement is hand wound AS 1702/03, 21-jewel version, used by Rado among others. I haven't measured power reserve, accuracy seems to be quite fine according to a timegrapher-software: -10-30 seconds per day, depending on the position and if the watch is fully/partially wound. I have no knowledge of service history. Most interesting part of the watch is the EPSA-made Super Compressor case, where the sealing is achieved through a spiring-loaded case back. More info on Super Compressor-watches here: wornandwound.com/2014/03/24/guide-super-compressors/. There are numerous scratches on the case back, but the familiar diver helmet and Brevet patent numbers are still visible. The original cross-hatched crown is also present. The case, sunburst dial and hands are in nice condition, as is the crystal, with the obligatory scratches from years of use. The leather strap shown in pictures is included in the sale. Case width is 36mm without crown, lug-to-lug measurement 43mm, lug width 18mm. Price: 150€. The watch is situated in Helsinki, Finland. Postage is at the cost of buyer. Payment by PayPal or bank transfer.
