Guys, is this the model with the nickname "Bullet" because of the shape of the indies?

I like the above model too & modern Seiko's really aren't my thing. It's got some classic looks & will probably be quite collectable in 20 years time. (If it isn't already) The chapter ring colours look great against the dial.

The bullet wasn't appreciated when it was in production and then when it went AWOL; there was a flurry of folks trying to find them. Seems to have fallen by the wayside now so maybe we can grab one for a good price. Don't everyone go posting WTBs at the same time or the prices will sky rocket rednono.giff

There doesn't seem to have been one sold on a forum for ages either (going by google images). There are plenty of other watches that I have my eye on at the moment but I'd like to own one of these one day. Now will you guys please stop posting photos of watches I haven't seen before, the moths in my wallet are getting lonely with no paper money to nibble on anymore.

I am with you gents, liking the look of that bullet, with the two-colour chapter ring. Very tasty. I also like that blue Monster from the other thread. Damn you guys, you are a bunch of enablers.

I liked the bullet divers when the came out EXCEPT for the multi color chapter rings.
I doubt many are around today in OEM unmolested condition as they came out around the peak of aftermarket / MOD parts availability.

I like the one listed here, not a fan of the orange dial with the blue chapter ring model though.

So many times I was about to get one of these. I love that red white chapter ring and the bullet like indices a lot. I didn't know it is discontinued now! Very best regards . . . Capt. Serdal

Does anyone know what the model is pictured in the original post? It looks like a professional diver that I have never seen before. Anyone know the caliber? It looks like seiko has experimented with that scalloped bezel on several models.

I believe that is a SKX001. It's a midsize diver (37mm?) IIRC.

The bullet is another model I've always wanted , but never got. I don't know why. I got an orange bullet dial and modded this 6309 though.

Thats pretty "Fly" Chris. Looks like a model you could really walk into a store and buy "back-in-the-day" thunbsup.gif
