Nor me. Too expensive & I think the bezel insert could well be aftermarket, not that that's a huge deal but I prefer them original . A/M parts always de-value watches for me. Someone will enjoy owning it though.

That'll be one happy seller ! I wonder if the buyer just put in a huge bid in the hope of gettting it for not much more than the £105 I saw it get up to (my phone always seems to be second or two out) seconds before the end. I hope he doesn't regret it !

I'm not an expert but from the sellers pics, I thought the lume pip looked too small for an original 6309. That's not to say that it couldn't have come off a more modern Seiko though. Really not sure. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. We need the experts to start an A/M thread sometime.

The insert looks too shiny to be OEM, but it could just be the pics.

I hope he doesn't regret it ! These always seem to sell well in the evening & weekends, I've even seen them sell for £250-300 in the UK. Last week, I was the under bidder on two that sold during the day for about £130-140 & they both looked all original & clean. Better buys than the one above IMHO.

I'll never quite understand the bidding frenzies you see, on watches with AM parts on them. Tim, some people really do have more money then sense. My boss had £200 to spend on a watch. Asked my opinion. I looked at ebay with him, asked what he wanted from it etc. 2 days latter his new watch arrived at the shop. A real trashy/glitzy gold & blue (GOLD & BLUE FFS!!!) Invicta! Cost him £245!
