I got this nifty black dial 6139-6020 Pulsations on a lousy strap. I tried in vain to find an original B052S Chicklet bracelet for it. You might remember I tried a similar to original but slightly off the mark President style bracelet but it just didn't work at the end links. Tritto loves his on a leather strap so with that in mind for mine I found this thick patterned deployment strap was good looking: That said, a 6139 somehow belongs on SS for my eye. Tonight on a bracelet hunt deep in the spare bracelet box was this vintage Speidel chicklet looking thing with the adjustable lug width sleeve deal. I popped in on and am very pleasantly pleased : Someday, somehow, I'll get that proper B052S chicket, but until then, this will scratch the itch.

Looks really good Jon. They're a beautiful chrono aren't they.

I've got the same problem Jon. When I found mine it was on a very ropey NATO, so I popped it on a black leather not dissimilar to yours. I wasn't that happy with it though, largely because it was an 18mm rather than 19mm, and the gap just bugged me. But - and here's the rub - trying to find a proper-sized 19mm strap that I was happy with wasn't easy. I eventually settled on a blue padded 20mm that I manage to squeeze on and, while I'm reasonably happy with it, I'd still love to see it on a bracelet - but with correctly fitting end links. In the absence of finding anything original I hoped that UncleSeiko might have one in his selection of repro 6139 bracelets, but it seems not. I haven't got any of Larry's myself but from what I've seen they look the real deal. The hunt continues!

camrok sent one of my pulsations back on this bracelet after he borrowed it for the anniversary challenge. It's a good fit. It came off an unloved 7005 or 7006. He'll remember the model number.

I also have a bellmatic with a chicklet style bracelet that looks like it might fit.

The -6020 looks pretty good on leather, but looks best on it's original steel. These watches came with one of two bracelets. The Stelux 'Chiclet', and a very similar non-Stelux bracelet with beveled links. I stumbled onto one a la carte some time ago... Got it for lunch money because nobody knew what it was (seller's pic).

The donor in question is the Seiko 7005-7062. But I think there are similar cases and bracelet combos to this.

Ever since I got my 6139-6020 I am doubting which colour leather strap I should get because I don't want to beat up the bracelet. Thinking about getting a deployment clasp for it too but Strapcode has them only for 18mm and 20mm and the lug width on the Pulsations is 19mm. Btw, the reddish glow on the dial is from a parasol.

Tan leather really suits it. You could always look at a tropic sport too or a leather version of that with the holes.
