Perhaps you remember, I recently won THIS auction. It was an impulse buy, no idea why I bought it...I just did. So anyway, when I received it, it was not in very good shape. The bracelet was in pieces on one end, and it was missing a couple parts. The pic of the case back, cleverly omitted the one side for a reason, it was ground down into the brass pretty badly. After thinking about it for a couple days, I decided I'd request a refund. The seller was not pleased, but said he would take it back, and refund my money upon it's arrival. He received the watch today, and I got this note... "When I sent u the watch the band was in one piece...Was it like that when it got to you?I will need to buy a pin now to get it back to how I had it. It could have came out during shipping. Can't say this is resolved, ugh! Just frustrated I guess like u were when u saw the watch. Did u look through the packaging thoroughly?"Yeah, I looked through the package, and saw nothing. I was already in a bit of a pissy mood, so this was my response to him... "It was in pieces when I got it, I had to put it back together. Yes i looked in the package, nothing else was in there. Keep the watch, keep the money...I really don't care t this point."
I don't imagine I'll hear anything more from him, but that's okay in my book...I paid a small price to avoid frustration.

Still no response from the seller, that should earn him a couple bad karma points

Terrific outcome! Smart seller in the long run.
I also had a good outcome today.
I won a watch July 27 and paid immediately with Paypal, her only method of receiving funds. A couple of days later I noticed that my paypal payment was pending, not received because her ID was not registered.
I've written to her every single day and never got a response. I figured she wasn't getting my emails.
Last night I thought of a new method to contact her. I left her a neg and she emailed me immediately. I wrote back and of course she did not get it.
I had tried every method of contacting Ebay from my home computer and nothing mentioned paypal problem. I wanted to contact ebay directly and it wasn't possible.
Yesterday while out I checked Ebay from my phone and like magic... there was their phone number.
So today I called Ebay. They gave me her phone number, I called and she called back.
Everything should be fixed by the end of the day and when I receive the watch the neg will be removed.
Perseverance prevails!

I have E-bays phone number programmed into my cell phone and have called them a couple of times and have gotten good results!

You packed his bags, he went on a Guilt trip. While on the trip he saw the error of his ways. As I posted previously, good for you thunbsup.gif

Thanks guys, it just wasn't enough of an investment to get stressed over. In the end, the seller manned up and made the proper decision.
