A bit of a different mod for me, since I have done mostly auto divers. (By doing, I mean I buy the stuff and ship it off to have the work done.) I want to take the 5M85 movement from the watch on the bottom and pop it in the case on the watch on top. Keep the top one's dial and hands. I would take the GMT hand however from the watch on the bottom, which I would paint all red. I guess the crux of the the issue is whether the GMT 5M85 Movement would fit the same as the 5M82 movement. My gut says it would work. My gut has been wrong before. Thoughts? SKA727 SUN031

Well, at least the fourth hand adds to the height. You'd need to check if the clearance under the crystal is enough to fit the GMT movement.

I had another epiphany which made me feel pretty neophyte even though I have been getting mods done for years. The 24 hr time on the black watch is still on a 12 hour per 1 full dial rotation cycle as opposed to the actual GMT hand 24 hours per 1 full dial rotation cycle. Ooops. How many GMT watches have I owned? Did not fully register with me until I had both watches in front of me. I returned the blue one. No harm done.
