Note the fantastic handset too. Seller clearly states in his/her ad that the movement and hands are not the correct ones!

I didn't realise there was a cobbling issue. This one is on my watch list purely out of interest. There is another 6105 on the bay for a whole heap of money. Also on my watch list, but (and I might get lynched laugh1.gif) I don't really like it that much.

Apparently they are putting a high price on the case, bezel & crown?

Apparently they are putting a high price on the case, bezel & crown? It's my understanding (though I should check the production #'s on the caseback data pages if only Hermann would appear) that of the 6105's, the "resist/resist" 6105-8009's are the rarest of them. I don't know for sure if it's true, but they certainly are much rarer than the proof/proof -800x's.

Wonder if that is actually a 6106C in there or if it is just a 6106C winding bridge on a 6105A movement.
The bridges interchange.

This watch 'sold' last week for about $300. It might end up as a good buy for someone who doesn't mind putting some a/m hands on it & isn't bothered about the movement. The 6105 is one of my favourites but prices have been getting crazy this year. I wonder if they'll keep rising as they have been ?

When I click on your link it says that it has been relisted. The winner must have backed out of the deal.

I expect so. I've never understood why people bother bidding if they don't have the money to pay or are unsure about it. It'll probably make more this week . The same happened on a rough 8000 here in the UK a few weeks ago. Sold for £180 then relisted a week later & made about £260 !
