As much as I love the way this combination looks, it's just not very comfortable.....I may end up going back to the bracelet.

That does look nice. I always wanted to put one of those on my SKX007, but I never got around to it.

Not a big fan of rubber, although the stock rubber for the Spork is pretty darned nice.

I've had several of these in both 22mm and 20mm. I find them stiff and they never sat my wrist properly with any watch combination. Great look but just doesn't work for me.

Oh ok thanks. Makes sense, 2 layers of padded leather will make it stiff therefore less compliant on the wrist...
Hmmm better stick to my bracelet or the original rubber until such time I muster up the courage to notch 24mm strap.

What exactly do you mean by 'not very comfortable?' Thanks. Like Saul said, they are just stiff. I think it could be comfy on a wrist that is more round, but not so much for a flatter wrist (if that makes sense).

Did you try soaking it in water for a few minutes then letting it dry on your wrist?

Did you try soaking it in water for a few minutes then letting it dry on your wrist? Are we still talking about straps? laugh1.gif

Did you try soaking it in water for a few minutes then letting it dry on your wrist? Yeah, but this is a really beefy strap, didn't really make a difference.

That stinks . . . . my Dad taught me that old trick and I've done it to every pair of Docksiders I've owned. Maybe if you let is soak longer so that the leather gets REALLY saturated?

I really like the tight wave design of the straps that came with the BFK and Spork but I would really like to find one in 22mm. Believe the Alba Manta Ray series were the same and in 22mm but I've had a hell of a time trying to source one. Would any of you lads happen to know alternate sources? Btw, that Di Modell strap looks great but it ain't comfy...........

Maybe if you let is soak longer so that the leather gets REALLY saturated? That's a waterproof leather. I'm not sure any amount of soaking will help.
