Confused? I'm talking about watches that Seiko probably made for third party resellers. I have a couple of examples: Sorry; I don't have a movement shot yet Standard Time is/was a Seiko company.

Is there a difference in what you're describing and other brands using Seiko movements?
I have a Bellini that uses a cheap Seiko VX42 movement.

Yes; I have been led to understand that these are watches specifically made by Seiko for third parties. The Vantage was a brand that Sears(or similar large department store) sold. The Atlantis is printed and stamped in the same style Seiko uses on it's own watches. There have been other watches Seiko has made and labelled/branded other than Seiko; often for car companies; electronics companies; etc. This is as opposed to watches like Invicta or Belini who simply buy and use Seiko movements while doing their own casing.

Thank you for the clarification. I now understand what you're saying.
