My S800-0010, which looked originally like this: got a new crystal and was ultrasonic cleaned. Which sadly killed all the color rings around the pushers: So I thought: What could I use to replace them... Paint? Heat shrink tubing? Ligature Ties! Sadly, not all colors presented in the picture made it to me - I wanted the brown ones, as they resemble the original color best. But hey, now I can have my pushers dress in hot pink! It's not perfect, but it's pretty good for 5,- Euros, and you get a LOT of colors These rings are pretty small, but they stretch just fine with a little effort, and sit very tight in the grooves. Disclaimer: I don't know how long they will last. But it seems a practical solution. They description states these are latex-free, have no swelling behavior and are of high and permanent elasticity.

It's for dental use i think? It's for the railway some have in the mouth. Seen them but not like this. Good fix.

Yeah, it's for dental braces, it says "Ligature Ties" on the package, though. I guess that's the technical term. If you google "ligature ties", you'll get lots of these...

That's a good look, I tried fixing mine with some generic small o-rings and they didn't fit very well...
