But can they match this orange bezel? I haven’t opened the watch yet but i saw pictures on the net and it looks like it has a seiko movement inside. I believe this is model 1002-W100 . I don’t have the right bracelet for it but i should have a similar Seiko h link i can fit on it. Then maybe find a wittnauer clasp to fit.

I would say that's very cool, but with orange like that I guess it has to be hot! Very nice.

I found it in a junk box hidden in the back storage room. It’s probably sat there for many years. I gave it a good shake, set the time against my Tuna. So far it’s been 22 hours, and its about 1 min fast ( didn’t match the seconds hand. I kust matched the minute). I think not bad for something thats almost 50 years old and god knows when it was last serviced.

I like the proportions of the Seiko better, but still cool.

I did find a couple more items. I found a wittnauer2000-1 in pieces. But all seemed new. I found the movement with a white/cream diala nd yellow hands on a small movement box, then found a bunch of s/s hands on another then i found 2 NOS looking cases (1 s/s and 1 yellow) aling with a few good blue dials. I’ve handed it to my watchmaker to assemble me a s/s blue dialed one. I’m not yet bit by the gold watch bug so i prefer s/s watches. I’ll post a pic when it’s done. The only thing missing was a steel bracelet (but i did have the yellow bracelet) i would either 1. Wear on leather/nato or 2. I have a wittnauer bracelet thats 1mm wide. Maybe i’ll file that down. Or 3. Rhodium plate the yellow bracelet. Oh and i did find this too. Changed battery and has kept perfect time for 4 days now.

Thanks. Ps. Do you know if the 7002 chapter ring works on a 6309 case? And here’s my wittnauer 2000-1 missing a correct crystal

That Wittnauer looks suspiciously like this Orient I saw in an antique store cabinet a few weeks ago.

That Wittnauer looks suspiciously like this Orient I saw in an antique store cabinet a few weeks ago. That’s because wittnauer commisioned orient to manufacture this watch for them. So even though it’s branded wittnauer, you could say it’s an orient watch.

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I wanted to contribute this very orange HASTE-branded JENNY Caribbean 1000. As if it weren't already orange enough, I added a NATO strap with orange stripes. ;-)
