Looks like a Chinese R---x homage. The name may suggest breakfast time . (image by 7pines) It's a dirt cheap automatic homage mushroom. These watches are popular on the WUS CMW forum. Many there buy them because they are so cheap/inexpensive. As with anything you pay $30 or less for; it's a crap shoot getting a good one. And by good; I mean one that runs and keeps time for more than a few days or weeks. There is also a submariner homage that some folks can't seem to get enough of

And by good; I mean one that runs and keeps time for more than a few days or weeks. By your definition, not hard to find a "good one" in the $30 or less, quartz category. Mechanical/automatics, I would tend to agree. (I know the WUS acronym; what does the "CMW" stand for?)
