Great watch! Similar movement to the Valjoux 7734? I think the 3133/31659 are based on the Valjoux 7734, yes.

Great watch! Similar movement to the Valjoux 7734? I think the 3133/31659 are based on the Valjoux 7734, yes. according to The Watch Bloke "In the 1970s, the Russian Poljot factory purchased the machinery to produce the 3133 from the Swiss firm Valjoux , at that time they were disposing of the machinery that once produced their chronograph caliber 7734. Poljot then used this to produce the 31mm calibre 3133. A good proportion of the parts of the Poljot 3133 are identical to the Valjoux 7734."

Very fun to see these, and I particularly like donciccio 's ROGERS up-down chrono! My collection started with old chronographs and I still have quite a few in the box. I'd really like to add a Japanese one! Here are some group shots, and I'm happy to expand on any of them if there is interest. What a collection!

Sorry I didn't see the classic part........they are non-Japanese at least.
I got this crazy thing coming in the mail. It's 38-39mm it's listed as Unisex or under women watches. Gender is MAN made right ? haha
I like the blue powder coated case, but that strap ! LOOK AT IT ! Starts 20mm goes down to like 14mm and wraps your wrist twice........yea, NO ! I have a Barton Blue leather band and a blue stingray band I will use.
I would NEVER buy a watch from Triwa. I am 100% a single issue voter on gun rights. You can convince me or force me, my gun insures the forward not the latter. Triwa sells watches made from "illegal" guns, they also have a Trump watch in which the hands are hair pieces. 98% of their watches look like crap, hipster, fashion first type watches. So why did I buy it ? It was $11............from goodwill. It retails for $250 (retail hahaha), real world price looked to be a little over $100+ (not in stock anywhere).

I have gotten rid of almost all of my chronographs, as I never seem to wear them, however I just picked up one that I’ve been looking for a while. It’s an Omega flightmaster 145.013 cal 910, from circa 1969. I actually already held one in my hand at a watch dealer in Munich a couple of years ago, but after confirming a part-exchange price with them one day, and them backing away from it the next day (apparently my Tissot suddenly had too many scratches on the caseback even though they had inspected the watch the previous day), I though “screw this” and put the idea on hold. Until this one came along, that is! Fortunately the prices for these haven’t skyrocketed (unlike Speedmasters), so decent, original ones can still be bought without selling a kidney..

View AttachmentNow that is a proper grail for me, love the Omega Flightmaster, both iterations of it. The prices are high enough to stop me going for one, and unfortunately my kidneys are a bit too heavily worked to be worth enough...!
