Just enough funds to get one of the two, but which one...

Neither...skx011j or 7548 orange! I had the 011 - the handset bugged me but loved the dial but didn't feel like doing a mod. 7548 orange - aren't they rare and bucks? Plus I'm currently in hock to someone for a watch if memory serves...

Well... If I was buying it for you, I'd go orange.

The 4 o'clock crown on the black is nice, but I prefer the face/bezel/color/bracelet on the SNZF19K. That said, in general I think the right answer to A -vs- B is either both (over time) or neither. I'd probably hold out for a Sumo or a Samurai.

Either and or for me man, both pretty sharp pieces looks wise . . . and for what it's worth, I think the Ti Sammy orange dial is the most handsome in the Seiko portfolio, the combo of handset, indices, insert and the knurled crown are the duck's nuts.

I'm reconsidering that decision but if I go that way I'll get a black dial, not the orange. What I like about the SNZF19 I can't quite pin down - the dial works, good size, nice tapered bracelet, black handset. The other one.. I love the dial but go back and forth on the bezel.

I'd go with the orange dial, not a fan of the two tone bezel on the other. I do agree with others when they say, go for the Sumo...There just happens to be one for sale on the forums now.

I have an OM and it's currently not in the rotation, so I'd go for the 5. But, doesn't it look like a Stargate to you? It does to me. Also, I must agree with an earlier post, the hands don't really do it for me - I like the tapered hands of the older divers. However, this does not mean I cannot learn to love it, look at something long enough and it's bound to look prettier (insert wife joke here...with caution!)
Oh what the hey, get one of each and scratch that itch for good!

Guess I'm in the minority here as I like the 2-toned bezel one...... a LOT!

FWIW . . . I prefer the case shape of the orange watch. It seems to be a lot less angular than the other one!

I have this one. I've heard it called the baby Caesar because of the bezel profile. It gets worn little (read none.) I think I might move it along.
