OK so the modern 7C46C was just popped in without any sort of fancy quartz regulating machine and now it's a second off after 3+ days.
Not looking so good for the ole' Golden Tuna.

I've serviced both 214s and 218s, and much prefer working on the 214s. I have a railroad that seems pretty accurate...maybe even quartz level.

Anybody interested in having one of my Accutrons thrown in the mix? I think it might be an interesting comparison of an early electric to the quartz. Bring on the hummer. Adrian has mine as it needs a service otherwise it would have been in the mix.

Well here we go. It's a 214 Railroad Approved Accutron which I serviced last year. It's running on an Accucell. I'm hoping there still is enough juice left in the battery for good numbers.

Well I did say I would post a pic of all my quartz but.................. as there are quite a few I just set them all to the same time and took pictures of them all together
No need to add them to the quartz accuracy challenge but I'll be interested to see where they are at in 30 days time

That’s awesome Some commitment there to sync. Hope it brought some joy. If it’s ok I have limited digital presence. I will post up the Seiko 0634 and against your omega seamaster digi and May as well do the ani digi. There is plenty of 754x it will be interesting to see how your 7cs compare to the few that are listed.

Did take a bit of time to set them all and satisfying to see them all ticking along at the same time, which is the first time ever
I'm just dreading battery changing time

Top marks for effort, stuart! Okay, so I added a few watches to the list... I went for variety of caliber, though I couldn't pass up pitching an JDM 7C43 vs. an US 7C43 (and NOW I see that I still have winter time on three of them. D'oh. Can't be helped now, I guess...)

camrok - the UHF are all Japan-made Bulova P102 movements, the Lorus and Casio are Japan-made SII movements, the Pulsar are Japan-made Pulsar (presumably Hattori)

Bulova may be Japanese now, but was American when my Accutron was built.

Bulova may be Japanese now, but was American when my Accutron was built. The company was American but I thought the tuning fork was still Swiss. Happy to be corrected. I know the esa versions of the hummer were Swiss.

I know the esa versions of the hummer were Swiss. I just saw you had entered Swiss in the spreadsheet. The answer is...it's complicated. The first 214's were all American. Then some later 214 models were made in Switzerland. You can look up Swiss Astronauts for example. They have different bezels. Swiss Spaceviews are different and much larger too. The design of the movement in all the Swiss models were identical to the American versions.
You're correct that the ESA versions were Swiss. They licensed the technology.

BTW, the Railroad Approved was dead on at 4pm yesterday. It's a good example of an accurate, but not precise movement.

Casio looks to have lost 1.5 to the server (its spot on 2 sec back but started @.5 behind) and the 7A28 has found them...The Casio got four days wear and teh A28 has been on for about 9 hours after sitting with the dial at about a 45 degree angle...Are we adding data to the sheet as we go or are we waiting until the 30 day is over? (might have been mention before but I missed it...

If you just put down wear count and mid way progress. you can write notes in the final column I’ve got no plans for that. I am trying to tally a watch if I see it in the WRUW threads but it will be great if you log it. It won’t make a difference to the final result but we will see trends.

I'll add these to the spreadsheet. My entry, the Longines looks 1/2 sec late. The Raymond Weil and Seiko seconds hands don't align quite right.
