The company was American but I thought the timing fork was still Swiss. Happy to be corrected. I know the esa versions of the hummer were Swiss. I just saw you had entered Swiss in the spreadsheet. The answer is...it's complicated. The first 214's were all American. Then some later 214 models were made in Switzerland. You can look up Swiss Astronauts for example. They have different bezels. Swiss Spaceviews are different and much larger too. The design of the movement in all the Swiss models were identical to the American versions.
You're correct that the ESA versions were Swiss. They licensed the technology.
Yes. From Bulova, I believe.

Update pictures - I’ll add to the spreadsheet later on. Competition entry 7123 is in the third pic, top row second from the left, and currently running +3. There’s one I missed off the list as well - fourth pic, bottom row, second from the right. Links of London with a Miyota 6P29, which I’m hoping I set incorrectly as its currently +63 🤣 63=3?

Hope so - it’s 63s out against the atomic time server so I’m guessing I set it to the wrong minute. We'll see over time I suppose!

So far so good. Wish i had synced it somewhere that shows fractions of a second though. I’ll try to find one tonight.

Update pictures - I’ll add to the spreadsheet later on. This challenge proves two things leffe, A. you have too many quartz watches and B. too much time on your hands! .

In my case it's even more silly - to check my watch box I need 24 minutes... (because I thought using the "Watch Check" app would make things easier) Should just have set them to the same time with a tablet like you, so a photo would be sufficient to check them all.

Well poop, the coil in the H558 just took a dump, so that one is out.
It was at +2 seconds this morning and when I looked just now the analog section has stopped 45 minutes ago.

Well, the H558 is still out of the challenge since I’d have to reset it and all, but I got home and uncased the mov’t, put the stem back in and it fired right up. Huh? No idea. I’ve been wearing the thing a lot since I got it running a few months ago. Kind of threw me for a loop it would just stop like it did.

And being obsessive I can’t not wear a watch, but can’t wear a broken watch either. That conflict made for a painful few hours.

This happened to mine after I installed a new battery and trimmed it a little. I had a mini freak out but now it’s all fine. Still sitting -.01-.05. 1/10 seconds are a bit superfluous in this challenge as it’s not like we can see increments of seconds when we set or take photos of our watches. Arnies are my favorite Seiko’s I’ve decided.

Arnies are my favorite Seiko’s I’ve decided. They’re mine too. Well, them and 7Axx. And 6138/9. Oh, and pretty much anything that bertnet has, especially his VFA. Oh yes, and tuna’s. And worldtimers, 62MAS and 6105. And...
