I am a recent watch enthusiast but things happen so fast : starting with a SNGZ13 in december 2019, I have now a small 8 pieces collection of recent and vintage watches, mostly Seiko but also a Vostok and a 25 years old digital quartz Timex Explorer. I have a mechanical engineering background so quickly I've been putting my big clumsy fingers in these amazing little time keepers. After spending quite some time lurking in the wrist sushis forum for information, I have decided to join so I can exchange the very little I know from my small experience and maybe go further with experts support from here . After the SNGZ13, I went into modding. here my firt modded seiko, based on a cheap SNK8** : Next, I have tried to service a 6106 movement-based watch : . I had quite some troubles until I found out the problem was a low friction between the center wheel and the canon pinion. But I am still not satisfied with the result; I'll probably post about that later. Other watches waiting for their turn : , , I'm very glad to join. Please excuse my globish kind of english. Lionel, from France. PS : not sure I inserted the pictures properly. here the link to the album. album (https://imgur.com/a/ozbIyw5)

Welcome aboard !! My best guess is a chronograph and a diver may be joining those classy watches !!! thank you! yep, I guess my small collection is a little on the dressy side. but my Grail now, as a vintage watch, would be a world timer 6117. I've seen the thread here on WS about the 6217 but I'm not quite sure what are the differences. I need to dig that a little.
