Strange enough, I love getting a watch in this untouched, first owner condition! After a service, new gaskets and 1:1 crystal from Jonathan the watch is unrecognizable Ron Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Hey Ron. I learnt the hard way that these are usually the best type of watches to buy as opposed to the cobbled together cack that some watch traders try to unload. Do you have any pics of how it is today? Love the avatar BTW. Dave

Hi Dave, I learnt the same, watches with this amount of sushi are the best to buy Unfortunately I have no after pic, and the weatch found a good home with a good friend of mine. Imagine what that sushi is made of.. In what kind of situations during a day men wear their daily watch? We can make a play out if it LOL. No need to mind your words My guess: hugging your-mother-in law To my avatar Dave: some TIGERs are nothing to be afraid of Ron

Perhaps he was a vet who didn't like wearing gloves when carrying out the internal investigation of farm animals.

I think you have a winner there Ron. be sure to post the "after" photos. I'm sure it's going to be nice
My preference has always been the same. If I see a nasty caseback caked with wrist cheese I'm almost certainly the first one to enter the case since it left the Seiko factory.
Coincidently, I also have an incoming one owner German market 6309-7040 from '79. it's actually due to arrive today along with a package from Jonathan containing a oem crystal and gasket set. wish me luck
Best Shawn

Eagerly awaiting the "After" shots. We all do this and we all suffer successes and failures. I sense a MAJOR SUCCESS

I guess the sushi would have been of a different color I saw that with my 7549-7010 - same exact stuff. It looked like salt deposits to me. Don't know if that's what it was, but that's what it looked like.
