Vintage 1977 Citizen Quartz 49-9315 Round Calculator Watch. Often referred to as the Holy Grail of Citizen vintage calculator watches. Sadly, sometime in the life of this watch it took a slight crystal hit at the 4 o’clock position, but still a nice part of my collection 😊 citizen quartz calculator GN-4W-S 4-096673 TA by William Cherrington, on Flickr

Day 6 for the 7009-4040 looks to have gained 1/2 second...Running so well I'm thinking I don't want to do anything to disturb it. Shame that crack is starting to annoy me...It's been sometime, since I have worn a watch more than a week straight, I may just keep this on until I open the 777 on fathers day??? See how long the accuracy holds up. I'll keep posting it in WRUW... Anyone else have that one watch that keeps great time? Sure; I have some that are a few seconds a day, maybe a minute a month, which I don't consider bad. Especially since I try and rotate and they're only worn a week at a time. At that point they could be off even more and it wouldn't really bother me. I guess I'm just amazed at a 20-30 year old watch; that odds are has never been service, and it looks to have been someone's daily wearer, and it still runs so well.
