So I have notice that i'm not alone in collecting a specific reference.
After posting yet another 6309-715x that I have coming in the mail. Along with an additional 7009-821J to add to the 821x sub set of 7009's sitting on my desk. Seeing Thomas with his set collections, Siralan with his full box of 6139's? Longbike has an aqualand or two... What are some of the reference that guys on here seem to always search out and find space for in their collection.
I guess for me there are two; 6309-715x and the 7009-821x. While the former seems to just have either a blue dial or white dial, I keep looking to see if there's another? Black? Grey? The latter seems to have any number of dial options which keeps me looking for more though duplicates if the price is right are never a deal breaker...
So while my collection is seiko-centric I seem to have more of these two reference than any others...Curious what others are more passionate about? Again I'm falling down on the photo update thing but hoping that'll change down the road...

Crappy lunch time photo with my cell phone showing the variety of dials on the 821x's. There are 8219's, 8210's, 821A and a 821J in the mix. Duplicates without bracelets shown below those w/OE. I know Highbeat thinks the first in line and my most recent is a parts bin watch base on dial (he thinks its a redial) and the hands are syringe vs. baton... but I'm not so sure. Josh thought the 8210 with the red shield 5 was a Patel but it too looks too good besides the red. (Top row fourth from the left). The one below it in the same except for the shield color??? Would Patel's shop just have changed it? Again were talking Seiko here. I have examples of 7009's with horeshoe back cases and case back missing the word Seiko??? At any rate 821x's are on the very top of my list of favorite Seiko's. thinking this is the same as the next one just different lighting making it look more of a pale yellow vs. Bright yellow/orange/gold??? This is a wrist shot from WRUW awhile ago. So if I'm counting right I'm up to ten, which I don't think beat Siralan and his chrono box....

Well yes. I’ve had a thing for Citizen Leopards for a while now. A pretty narrow focus made narrower by my specific interested in the models with the big crown at 3, and the Leopard logo on the dial. Super Beat 8 or 10, but nothing beats a 10 really. I’ve not noticed many others with the same devotion to this specific model(s), and so I wonder if I have accumulated one of the better groupings of these around.

From the pictures you post its narrowed even further by having the best looking examples as well.

Just noticed this post, time to come clean. I’ve got a thing for Citizen Challenge divers, I started collecting them years ago when they weren’t popular and Seiko diver prices seemed to be expensive in comparison. These are most of them but I’ve got more since this pic and still have around 4 to restore.

Is there a line between addiction and obsession? Lol. I've never seen so many 52-0110's in one place.. just wanna roll around in them. Awesome collection!
