This is my only Swiss watch.. So far. I have no idea how much it's worth or even when it was made. My Grandpa had the exact one, an I stumbled upon it by chance. I just know I love it...

That's a great watch - I have the same in stainless steel. Vintage Tissots are good value.
Love the zippy winding sound they make.

That is a nice sound. Even if you just shuffle it to wind it sounds great 😊

Hi. Have heaps of Tissot. They are one of the most under rated Swiss watches. Movements are the same as an Omega and many other parts are interchangeable. The original Tissot was a very high end watch brand supplying the Russian Imperial Court. After the Russian revolution they slowly lost their clientele and were taken over by Omega and eventually became a lower tier brand to Omega.

Some mine that are working. They are solid watches, but look out for quick set date problems in the later models.

It's my latest Tissot addition. It has some cool monument markers. I have one in gold that I'm not too sure about. Glad you're loving yours. Look up Turler, it makes yours a little more special.

I had the modern version for a couple of years but eventually sold it. It has tall slab sides and the bracelet is ridiculous. It wore much better on leather.

Not sure if my memory is trustworthy but I seem to remember that Martog had one of these several years ago when they were all the rage.

Have on myself that I picked up second hand on Ebay. A very nice watch but I agree with tritto , a bit slab sided. I also find the crown is so close to the case that it is a little difficult to hand wind. Mine never came with the original bracelet - so I popped it onto a leather "Rally" strap. Unfortunately I can't find the watch at the moment - this watch and my Alpinist a lost in the bedroom boxes and draws .. somwhere.

I had the one with dark blue dial. It was perfect with an original tropic style strap. I still don't know why I sold it
