So scrolling "other items for sale" buyer sellers trying to save on shipping. I came across hard hats of all things, used hard hats selling for hundreds of dollars! I did a few quick searches but didn't turn much up. I guess there are collectors of just about anything. I just thought hard hats was weird. Even if they are the "best" hard hats money could buy, why? It reminded me of something I'd heard in a safety meeting once. "A hard hat only needs to be a strong as your neck..."
Anyone else hear of hard hat collectors, or odd items that have staggering prices?

Are these hard hats for wearing, or vintage collectors pieces. If collector pieces, who knew? I guess people collect all sorts of things. I know a guy near me who collects fuel stoves and lamps. I've visited to help him with a couple of watches that needed batteries and he has a shed full of the things.

Bugger, I bin mine every year or so and get a new one. I must have missed out on millions! Anyone want to swap on old green HH for a GS?

I've seen carbon fiber ones that were super lightweight for guys that wore them for climbing. But no vintage hard hats? No. What's next old beat up watches?
