Not too long ago My 1974 Constrllation 18 KT went back to the Omega Shop. The watch was recently overhauled and was really pretty, almost like new; however after the overhaul, the faults were that the date wheel was misaligned, I could not wind the watch unless I bit into the crown with all my fingernails and it was a bit too fast. Other issues were that the band was very cheap leather and the buckle was not gold, it was GF. They did not pay me a cent from Omega for being a Quality Control guy.
Let's see what these guys have this second time around.
Man, with this Omega and the Rolex that I also had overhauled, I could have thrown them in the sink and passed them through the food grinder and have about $2000 to spend on some nice Japanese ware. After saying this, I do not know if I can look at myself in the mirror tomorrow. I am getting into watch craziness. To put it simple... I have many ways for knowing the time of day, so what are the watches for???

Sorry for your troubles. It is very frustrating when watch companies that charge premium prices for their product and service cannot match the QC and service level of Timex's Service Center. Keep sending it back and being "a thorn in their side" until they get it right.

I think that that might be the best move.... so now I will get the Connie back... because of the cost and aggravation, I will be even afraid to wear the darn thing.
