Zeke's quartz or mechanical thread inspired me to dig this out. 7548-700F with a cushion case and black bezel.

6309-7040 mod. Lovely smooth 6309 movement in a slim case, with an โantiquedโ dial ( a โHong Koโ am, so glad to put it to work!) Would love to get hold of a nice Wabi 6306, before they get too valuable (or am I too late already?)!๐

Continuing on with the countdown to International Pogue Day on Saturday, Jan. 1971 Silver Resist. I've had a lot of silver dial Pogues and the key is the dial condition. This one is really special. Original hands, an NOS inner rotating ring that went gray color in storage before mounting, I used it as the hue seems to be especially complimentary. Later model OEM bezel swap which I prefer for its shades of blue and red. On original president bracelet too. Rebuilt by Tom / SeikoPsycho so she's good for another 50 years !
