Bonjour from Paris, France
First, it's a long time I'm reading this forum and to be honest I'm impressed by such quality.
Few years ago, I bought an 6105-8110 from Fev 1973.
There are a lot of information about the watch itself, but I never found any precise information about the box originally shipped with the watch. No reference, except few pictures... Do you have this kind information ? Was the box different for the JPM and the international version like the strap for example ? The same box for all the production ?
Merci. Christophe

I have wondered this sometimes over the years but it is likely a load of different boxes.... and those sold at silly prices as 6105 boxes are imo very likely just for some other Seiko. The cardboard box with an internal separate display tray and a stamp on the outside with 55027 or 55029 is what you'd know to be an original 6105 box. Everything else is just guess work I reckon. Something more like this. As opposed to one of these.

Most were probably sold without boxes and worn out of the shop. This is the one commonly associated with 6105's but was also used throughout the 70's for other Seiko's. The Scubapro 450 6306 came in one of these with the Scubapro 450 writing on the lid.

More often it was up to the shop selling the watch to box it, still to this day you can buy the same Seiko from different stores and get completely different boxes. In France the box may be completely different... I know this is not much help but understanding where the watch you have came from is important in the consideration of the box style.
