Funny story. I bought this on the website Global Rakuten which is totally in Japanese. The price was amazing and there was a 15% cash back deal through their English based WEBSITE. I tried loading a translating extension in my browser and the fu@$ing thing wouldn't work. So I sat with Google translate to figure out what the hell each web page was saying. I figured out how to set up an account. I figured out how to checkout. When I get there and enter my credit card it gets declined. I have to figure out what that decline page was saying. I then call my credit card company to find out what happened and their fraud department declined it. So I gave them permission and then had to start all over again ordering this stupid watch. It was such an ordeal. But I got it...obviously
They had the "jade" colored dial too, but I liked the deep rich blue better. I have to wear it slightly tighter on the wrist because it's so top heavy. It balances much better like this. Usually my bracelets are one micro adjustment looser than this to allow for a little wiggle and wrist swelling during the day. I can't do it with this one.
I know you wear this one a lot, but I have yet to say how much I like it. The case lines and hour indicator font are awesome. Very cool watch.
Thanks. This is my current favorite. Over the last several months, I have worn this one as much as all of my other watches combined. To the best of my knowledge, there were 120 of these made. Fewer of the other variants. Black w/date and blue date/no-date. 250+ all variations. It was a WUS Affordables project. Not bad for a design-by-committee. forums.watchuseek.com/f698/
