Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Tom, I've been gradually collecting vintage Seiko's and Pulsars over the last few years. Slowly but surely getting deeper down the rabbit hole that this hobby becomes . I'm based in the Uk, newly married, mortgaged and an expectant first-time father so I'm damned glad I fell for vintage Seiko's and not one of the more price inflated brands. Tinkering skills extend little further than battery and strap changes and bracelet resizes. I've brought a few quartz movements back to life with careful contact cleaning etc but am looking forward to some tools for Xmas so I can start practising with going further. Currently the horde stands at around 40 pieces and I'll add a few photos of my best ones shortly Regards Tom

Pull up a chair and relax on the best forum on the web! Nice collection you have there. Whereabouts in the UK are you? There’s a number of us on here dotted up and down, I’m in East Kent myself. Bunch of enablers on here so I’m sure that collection of yours will only go one way... ⬆️

Regards Tom

to Wrist sushi Tom!
Several folks here started with less knowledge and skills than you and have become very god watch repairers and restorers.
There is lots to learn here and many people willing to share their knowledge.

Welcome Tom. Plenty of knowledge here and with some time and practice you'll be servicing your watches!
