The problem with most aftermarket crystals, other then fit + finish, is the distortion of the inner bezel they cause when viewing the dial straight on.

The problem with most aftermarket crystals, other then fit + finish, is the distortion of the inner bezel they cause when viewing the dial straight on. This glass results in a view similar to the Klein in that it has a black ring when viewed straight on. Maybe that is the trait of the flat top. I am otherwise detained today but will look at my OEM FT's to check what they produce. This said, for the money, I will probably fit these to any further addition to my 6139 collection. |
