Hi Guys,
I’m still here, 2019 was a big year with the health of my wife number one priority, and for a while there my mental health suffered because of it. 2020 is shaping up well with my wife’s health improving all the time. I’m still collecting the occasional watch here and there nothing expensive just a couple of micro brands. I asl went through a mid life crisis lmao and built an Aussie vintage car, brought back from the dead. It’s nearly finished with a Stroked 351 Cleveland making 520Hp. It should rattle some cages when it finished. I still pop in quietly but thought I would post. It’s great to see the fantastic forum going strong. I will try and get some picks of the watches I purchased as well as some pictures of the car.
take care all Mark

It's great to see you around, Mark! I'm glad your wife is on the mend.
What kind of car are you restoring? I'm guessing it's a Ford.

G'day Mark. Good to hear 2020 is looking better for you. Photos of the car restoration project please. You're a big fellow and on the spot. Can you go round and sort out this Chris Essery fellow that's dragging the WA watch scene through the mud. 😆

There's a big fuss in the Australian watch world (at least in the part that loves much more expensive watches than us) about a WA guy who was big in that scene as a YouTube review, moderator of various Facebook forums and seller of grossly over priced Rolex who turned out to have been scamming quite a few people and got caught selling at least one fake Rolex Daytona. It's the biggest scandal of the year (in the Rolex world at least). They're all up in arms. Amongst his excuses for delaying repayment when he couldn't deliver the goods is that his parents home burnt down in a bushfire and he used a stock ABC photo from months before to back up that particular claim. He happens to live in your neck of the woods and I reckon a few people would welcome seeing a big fellow drag him out of his hiding hole. 😃

Well I would be shocked someone does not do something stupid to him That is a lot of money and lies and him trying to delete his online posts Over here in the states He could wind up in huge jail time If not being beat within a inch of his life for defrauding all of these people God Bless,John
