I have no friggin idea why but the screw down buttons are literally FROZEN shut! No matter how hard I unscrew they won’t budge! It is so bad that I took a pair of pliers, covered the screw with a piece of leather, evenly applied pressure and turned. NOTHING! Will not budge. You can see what it did to my finger. I even applied some dish soap overnight to see if maybe a hint of it oozes into the threads to free them up; but didn’t work. I’ve barely worn the thing! It did get wet in a shower but it’s a dive watch. Suggestions!!! ?

I don't own one so take my advise with a loada salt.
You could try some temperature differential. Cool the watch down to the minimum operating temperature, cover the watch leaving just the crown exposed.
Use some almost hot water on just the crown and try turning. Might need to use your leather and pliers trick if it doesn't work by fingers only.
You want to just turn to release a bit not fully as there might be steam ingress which you really don't need.
Or just send it back to Seiko

This is yet another good reason why watches should not be worn in the shower; they are, after all, dive watches not shower watches As ouroboros suggests, send it back to Seiko as this is simply unacceptable.

Thanks fellas, it's EXACTLY what I just did. Boxed it up in bubble wrap, filled out their repair form with the problem I'm having, made a shipping label, and will drop off tomorrow.
To be candid, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and squeezed a little too hard on the protected crown and cosmetically damaged it. I explained to them that it got to the point after I cut my finger where I needed pliers and that STILL didn't unscrew it. I explained that a new watch of Seiko quality should not be experiencing this and it's my hope that they'll see to it and repair for free as the watch is under warranty and not worn much yet.
Even *if* I got it unfrozen whose to say it won't happen again. Shouldn't happen in the first place. So it has to go back. I'll keep you updated as I traverse the bowels of Seiko repair during Corona lock down. Thing will 'prolly sit for a while.

It is counterintuitive.
The main crown at 3 o'clock is normal.
The "A" and "B" buttons at 7 and 11 o'clock have REVERSE threaded screw downs!!!
Clockwise to unlock !!

It won't unscrew either way! I'm twisting both screws clockwise with all my might and they won't budge! Honestly! I'm shredding skin off my index finger of my other hand now trying. And this is with the one I didn't take a phuckin wrench to
I'm the king of self deprecating humor and would love to report on how much of a dope I am if this was a misunderstanding. I'll let Seiko handle it.

I feel for you. I had (almost) the same experience. Couldn't get them to budge.
So I opened the manual and read the details. Had a real "Myles moment" thinking WTF?
Maybe it makes sense in that unlocking is always done rolling it towards yourself and locking is always done rolling it away from yourself ?

They are running nuts. By this I mean they spin in the case and their internal thread is conventional right hand threaded so that when unscrewed the internal pusher moves out.
Experiment with a bolt and nut.

Aloha
One would certainly be surprise when things are ....... SUBJECTED TO .... EXCESSIVE COLD or EXCESSIVE HOT AREAS. IT LOOKS LIKE for ..... THE DEEP DEPTH USE THEY WORK GREAT. BUT FOR SHALLOW SHOWER'S THAT IS ANOTHER STORY.
HEAT PRODUCES ..... EXPANSION AND SUCTION PRESSURE // COLDNESS PRODUCES ..... FOGGING / LOCKING UP / MOISTURE'S AND FREEZING. THERE ARE ..... NATURAL LAW'S AND EXTREME LIMITS ....... THAT WE NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS. ALOHA Louis
But hope it turns out to be successful to get it repaired for use.

Getting fixed free of charge. That's great news! It was also nice of them to send x-rays of your watch!

Don't wear watches in the shower. Especially these shrouded things.
The soap mixed with the water turns to cement when it dries. You also risk steam getting in there.
I had a H558 here a bit back. Worn in the shower every day. The soap built up under the shroud and guess what soap is? You guessed it. Corrosive.

Getting fixed free of charge. Why does it say OUT OF WARRanty? Good question. I noticed that too but as long as it says $0.00 I’m happy 😆
